The Weight of self-Belief

A pawn is small on the chess board,

An easy link to underestimate

He trains to move one step at a time,

___ to dream beyond the room

But self-Belief is honest.

It exposes what rules try to hide

Beneath the illusion of reality

He stretches his bones

too bold to reach heights

a king rising from belief alone.

He holds his crown in his steps.

He wears it solely in his heart every move he takes

Power is not always granted.

It comes from a place of thoughts

The engine of the soul pictures it

the destiny that lies beneath

The ability to stand ground with kings

People who try to take him out early.

Comes from the place of faith

Barriers, obstacles (shakles and pain)

Still—

he moves forward.

Because destiny doesn’t start

when you arrive at the throne,

it starts the moment

you refuse to see yourself as a pawn

But rather picture the king in you

Wearing that golden crown.
